  • Excellent tutorial...best Ive seen thanx so much. Did anybody have a problem opening the male AV model material layers? When I try to open the material layers they open as a layer, the only layer. No background no baked overlay :(

  • @boaterscorner If you simply can't comprehend...then simply look elsewhere or go fuck yourself :)

  • I wanted to make a tattoo wrap around the arm and such and it gives me like a feathered look when I merge the layer with the model, what should I do? Sorry if I make no sense.

  • @ScatterTheseAshes It's possible it may pixilate if it doesn't cleanly follow the topography of the model. Your best bet is to make a blank layer on material top, and then draw directly on the model itself, rather than drawing in the material top window. When at all possible, observe the avatar's grid lines which will give you a clearer indication of the avvy's topography.

  • @trance12 Thanks so much :) I will try that. Hopefully I can achieve greatness hehe

  • Silly Question:

If i wanted to use a png image as a tattoo could i paste it directly on the 3d model?

I tryed it and it's not showing up on the material top/bottom.

    Thanks

  • @oOh0ShiOo You'd have to open material top, and paste it onto a new layer, then go back to the model window and let it refresh.

  • @trance12 that didn't answer his question, he wants to paste png tattoo directly on 3D model but they don't show up on material top/bottom and not vice versa.

  • @boaterscorner My apologies. Instead of explaining the work around to achieve the same result, I should have just said no.

    No.

    Is that better?

  • @trance12 No is not enough.. make another video.

  • @boaterscorner If you have tried it, you will see that pasting a texture in front of a smart object, simply floats the texture in front of the object. It doesn't apply it to the object's internal texture, which is the MATERIAL. I have to assume you haven't tried this yourself or you'd understand its mechanics. Making an entire video to explain this video, to answer questions already answered is futile. If you wish to do so yourself, feel free.

  • @trance12 No you do it, because you enjoy helping people, I'm sure you will feel good if you make another video just to answer my question. So make it!

  • @boaterscorner I've answered the question multiple times. I'm sorry you have trouble comprehending simple english. I won't make another video to accommodate your simple mind. Sorry, you'll have to troll someone else.

  • @trance12 bad girl :P

  • @trance12 you can actually past it on the top then drag and drop it on the 3D model tab.

  • thanks for doing this, never going back to 2d tattoos again

  • Thank you!! great videos
