On the show I know that they are married, but what about REAL life. Robert Shafer can be seen at The Office Convention with his arms around Phyllis Smith. Am I reading into this or are they actually together? (It can really be noticed at :39-:43)

Phyllis and I are just good friends (in real-life) and I think when we make public appearances, we tend to get into character a bit, which means that we are publicly affectionate. Also, at this event, Phyllis had a fractured ankle, and I was extra- conscious of helping her to get around. In answer to your other question, there are rumors about an OCII which would take place in Sept. 2010 Remember, if you can't love Phyllis -- who can you love?
