@ACELLOFAWARENESS The albun credits list him as G. Lee. Is it "Glee"? Hello Glee. Was it the guys from UFO that did that to him? Sounds right but it was a long time ago when I heard Glee tell that story. UFO boys had girls dripping off them after the show and there were the CN boys, no clue on how to shtoop groupies. Went back to their hotel rooms and ordered something from room service while the others got serviced in their rooms. And poor Alex was married at 12 or something like that. Wow.

Mix is different up this close....which is to be expected. Gives you an idea of the stage volume since it sounds like I can hear acoustic drum sounds and 2X12 guitar cabs blowing off stage. : ) Can also hear Geddy's bass a bit better here too. Sounds like the compression on the camera is squashing the low end and compressing the high end. Geddy's bass was non-existent farther back in the arena cuz the kick drum was so bass heavy it was hogging a ton of sonic real estate. : (

@claywerks the mic on my camera sucks, even padded over, but not as bad as some. i don't like the mix this year with Alex running more through the PA and the weak amps on stage.  I want to hear that guitar blow me into next week like it did on the last two tours!

@crush21me i cover the microphones for every show, too loud that close, you actually get the natural sound off Neil's drums and those high impact sounds are what causes the distortion. From what I've gathered, the Panasonic Lumix ZS1, 3, 5, & newest ZS7 camera has the best microphone of any camera, people have vids posted from up front with NO distortion at all, and using it right out of the box!
