@MVPBallin Yes it does. Not often and usually not much, but we usually get at least a little snow each year. However, in recent years I've noticed that our winters have become much milder overall. I have a motorcycle and I was able to ride it every month for the last two years. Even in January and February there are days where it gets up to 60 degrees or more. I've seen January days over 80 degrees. Very strange, but nice for those who want to lay out on the beach!

@ICU2POPO It ain't bad. I live in the Hopewell area. It's pretty nice, quiet in my neighborhood and everything conveniently close by. Prince George, Hopewell, and Colonial Heights are the nicer areas. I lived in Petersburg for a while...it's not that great to be honest with you. I would highly suggest Prince George for ya. But hey message me if ya come into Hopewell!

@uberkewl19 I visited San Diego a couple of years ago and it's a beautiful place, but it's 3500 miles away. Virginia Beach is within a days drive from 1/3 of the nation's population and driving is the least expensive way for families to travel. If you are on the West Coast, by all means visit San Diego. Hit an In N Out Burger while you're there. If, however, you are on the East Coast, make sure you come to Virginia Beach and give Five Guys a try. It's better than In N Out! Believe it!

@TheMikeymouse1234 Actually, that's Virginia Beach. Myrtle Beach is far too spread out and big. Virginia Beach is just the right size with the ability to walk just about anywhere you want to go.

i lived in va.beach all my life up a year and a half ago, me my husband and son now live in cali . east coast west coast so different, i miss va.beach it has so many memories for me. i'm glad i found this video brought some of those memories back thanks.

Every year we have the Stars And Stripes Celebration featuring famous bands all day on several stages along the boardwalk, and of course the big fireworks show! It's a GREAT TIME!

i live in ohio and go to virginia beach for vacation every year. its pretty awesome and whats weird is that when this video shows the statue of neptune i can see where i crossed the street there. i love it because everyday i went one year i saw dolphins and the sand was really clean. the scary part was going in the chesapeake bay bridge tunnel.

I used to live right by Oceana, I grew up in Virginia Beach, VA...haha, went to Ocean Lakes High School and Birdneck Elementary! It is very beautiful there! Haha - I also used to work at Sunsations, the first one starting towards the Bridge to the Marine Museum and Ocean Breeze Fun Park! Good times - haha. I can't wait to visit again, my pop retires from the Navy soon!

That was an awesome video because it showed the palm lined streets. I like how the VA Beach area ha staken advantage of their nice climate and incorporated Sabal palmetto palms along with others into the public landscape. Cool music with the vid too. 5 stars!

I grew up on 47th street. The Mayflower buliding on the right at 1:50 is now white. It was brick when I left winter 2008. What happened thats ugly

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the Beach Club. I agree, Myrtle Beach is too built up and hectic. Virginia Beach has it all and is more than 7 hours drive closer (each way) than Myrtle Beach.

Haha! I stayed at the Beach Club when I went. Virginia and North Carolina beach are the best beaches within 5 hours of when I live. I hate Mrytle Beach. The people were do rude and they didn't have strips like this. You had to drive everywhere!
