@wildsmiley yeah I was just listening to an interview with him on bbc radio and he said when he first heard this he was driving and had to pull over because he was so blown away. I love these old 50s/60s songs because they were short, sweet and near perfect. But you're right, this one is infact a perfect record :) Its so powerful even now, and Ronnie Spector's voice is fresh as a daisy.

Veronica Bennett married Phil Spector (the Ronettes' manager) in 1968. She kept his name even though they divorced in 1974.

Pretty close... Phil Spector was actually the Ronettes' PRODUCER...and he and Ronnie were divorced in 1973.
