calm down, i didnt imply anything, what i did say i was quite direct. i said, 1. you should have a helmet, 2. the set up for the baby carrier may not be safe, and 3. i had read that riding with children under 1 year is not recommended. i mention specifics and you are taking it personally. i didnt say it wasnt tied down enough. good baby carriers are connected to the bike on a swivel so the the biker falls over, the baby carrier stays upright, could you say the same?
You imply that we did not securely mount the carrier into the basket. you also imply that we are not safe, thinking parents... well booo hooo to you poobottomRocketship. bet you would have called the cops if you saw me getting that 3 wheeler up on two wheels... also i would like to add that this little girl's parents can ride bicycles better that most people drive cars....
a cute scene, but she doesnt have a helmet on and while i am not a safety expert i am willing to bet putting a baby/baby carrier in that basket is NOT safe. the baby should be in the kind of carrier attachment is is made for babies and i recently recently read that no baby UNDER one year old should be in any kind of contraption that is being pulled by a bike.
@shoobedoorocketship ... yea going along at jogging speed along a walking path on a tricycle is sooo dangerous. lol. you say its dangerous because its a bike , not a motorized vehicle that cruises down highways at 100kms plus? with tractortrailers whiping by? no, i think the tricycle method looks like the safest way to travel with your kid to me. by far.
and just look at mum's bum all day long .. i see it now.
