I need more info on what happens if you don't take medication year's after you've had rheumatic fever, can a doctor or someone who knows answer this please!! Also, do you know of any clinics that will find out for free if it has developed into rheumatic heart disease? I really would like some help with these answers!!

HI, my had this fever when he was 16 and died at 64 from heart damage because of due to the fever. Please keep an eye on your heart
