the track at 5.30/6 mins is a remix of Sebastian San's, I'm Strong. i'm not sure if Weatherall was mixing it with something else or it was a proper remix as I have never been able to find the version he played

Go to London or Berlin for techno, first Pressure's we went to there was nothing but sound. £10 on the door.

Pressure is still a good club night though, Glasgow is alive.

no go to Berlin... nothing in the UK can possibly top Europe in terms of clubbing... we have too many laws about drinking and opening hours and everything that restrict us to a bare minimum. im kinda scared pressure will be a let down hopefully attending for the first time on the 27th for the birthday, but 4am finish compared to elaving at 10am and people still partying is weak haha

pressure isn't what it once was but there was a time when it was unbeatable. carl cox himself said that the arches was his number 1 venue to play and a host of other dj's say similar stuff about the arches and sub club.

i was lucky enough to attend the place in the golden era of the late nineties/early noughties and am glad u missed it.

Man i feel old. i used to go to pressure religiously, from late '99 to 01. Sneak, Green Velvet, Derrick Carter, Rolando, Ritchie Hawton, Gene Farris,Dano, Justin Robertson, Dj Shadow & Cut chemist, Jeff Mills, Luke Slater, Dave Clarke,etc. The atmosphere was always electric. Never! any hastle. Met alot of good friends in the corridor between the arches. If you've never experienced the 'back arch' (not a gay thing)at 3am, you've never lived. Here's to the glorious last Friday of the month!
