Sorry cncryp, missed somehow your post. You can fly all year round. But in winter time the access to the launch sites are more complicated or not possible because of the snow. Thermals are till September... I was three times in U.S. but not flying. Californa, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Florida, New York and Chicago... With a hanglider its not so easy to travel by plane :o)
