  • I LOVE SINGAPORE

  • w.w.w(dot)youtube(dot)com/watch?v=1pxvjXll0PI&NR=1

Why do I find these two so much alike??

  • very nice touching video...i miss the Singapore during 90's...when everything were so peaceful...filled with all my childhood memories..

but definitely not since Singapore had been infested with PRCs n etc..... x_x

  • @fatcarrotj and those foreign workers from bangladesh and india. Its not that I am a racist but I just cannot feel comfortable with so many of them around, especially on mrt trains. In jurong, you really feel like you are in india. Half of the ppl on the streets arent singaporeans. Its really sad.

  • i think the girl don even know how to play baseball. :)

  • i am damn proud to be a singaporean

  • All my schoolmates :')

  • i don't think we play baseball/softball that often and certainly not in primary school. and the kids look like child labourers. wrong on so many levels. cute song though.

  • use as first 1998 national day then 2004 national day then 2011 total defence day

  • i am touched

  • This is home truly, where I know I must be

Where my dreams wait for me, where that river always flows

This is home surely, as my senses tell me

This is where I won't be alone, for this is where I know it's home

  • Singapore is a sad story surrounded by idoits and living in constant fear.

  • the young boy is freakin' beastly :) , the girl is mehhh

  • GO HEAR 2:09. MOST EPIC AND FUNNY OFF KEY. SO OBVIOUS. HAHAHAH. OMG.

  • omg i was back in aussie for 2 years.. cldnt find the time to fly home (s'pore)

after this song.. i packed my bag and was home the nxt day in time 4 natioinal day..

love my birth place.. it all about ur roots..CAUSE..

this is where i know i am home...

  • cool song...i like it from Vietnam

  • THis is HOME TRULY! So sad , and it brings us all Singaporeans together!!

  • yes best song ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this song!! T_T I feel so sad after listening to this. & YEAH, proud to be a Singaporean!

  • Somuchsolittle, can you name a government that can please everyone and yet be as good or better than my home, Singapore

  • @Badbedah1965 Forget about such ppl... They're the usual misfits and NOT TRULY SINGAPOREANS, just simply troublemakers from another party posting anti-govt remarks everywhere.

  • People who detest Singapore are not to be respected . All countries have their future , and I believe Singapore has a VERY VERY BRIGHT FUTURE~

  • How can anyone have faith in such a government that is so brutal and has so little regard for social and moral justice?

  • @somuchsolittleful Just take it as we're brainwashed and stop ur bitching...no one's gonna give a shit about what you say

  • the song is a bit too slow. and the people are a bit ugly. but lyrics is splendid

  • @gundamterryful the song,i personally feel its just right..and the people's not ugly,so what if they are, they are born lyk dat,and if u don't appreciate how everyone is special in their own ways, and look at the positive things about someone, then kindly don't comment.and the lyrics are FANTASTIC.

  • this sounds like the mosquito song

  • SHAME ON SINGAPORE

For sentencing swiss mand Oliver Fricker to FLOGGING. How dare any place continue to use this archaic torture beating thousands of male law offenders yearly. Absolutely

disgusting and uncivilised third world island nation.

  • @somuchsolittleful for your inf there is nothing bad about this song if you want to talk about other songs ls go to other videos THAT are those songs THIS is a national song and it IS V V V V V V V VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY rude to disturb other country's policy if you don't want to listen then don't and PS those who disagree with me vote down those who do vote up (if you want to)

  • @somuchsolittleful, people get punished for crimes they commit. Respect the countries you visit.

  • @oswald1973 Punishment is one thing--Torture is another. Everyone whether guilty or innocent has the right to be treated Humanely. Singapore's obsession with court ordered FLOGGINGS of males is truly a sickness in this society. Those that advocate this abuse are no different that the prison guards that are trained as sadists to inflict injury with blood on another man. This sexually perverted barbaric punishment is against universal human rights and is disgusting!!

  • @somuchsolittleful: Really? How do you know? You've been in the prison before? Singapore is a very small country, 800 sq km. A riot will flatten the entire country. Moreover, most Singaporeans gone through National Service, and Singapore is an international city, meaning it has an open door policy towards immigration, and it's market is very open... with such open door, and small country, I'm sure punishment needs to be as harsh as possible. But inflict injuries? You need to have evident...

  • @oswald1973 What does it matter whether or not I have been in prison before? The sadistic beating of males is cruel, degrading and inhuman punishment and tantamount to TORTURE. (Harsh is a very nice word you use). There is plenty of evidendce this barbaric abuse leaves permanent scarring. International human rights groups condemn Singapore for this. You cannot be as naive as you seem. What is this nonsence about riots?

  • @somuchsolittleful: So you admit that you were never in any Singapore prison before? So if you haven't lived in any of these Singapore prisons, then how do you know beating occurs? By words of mouth? I know all the stories... Dr. Chee, etc. Do you know the history of Singapore? Do you know what it stand for? I'm sure I'm naive, but I know my history... I know what's going on.... and I know if Singaporeans aren't happy with the existing government and its human rights concerns....

  • @oswald1973

READ closely-- I said what does it matter whether or not I have been in prison-no admitting or denial. I know exactly what I am speaking about -so do you-and incidentally so does the rest of the world. The history of Singapore is there for all to see. Even though there is censorship you are aware of the what goes on in the prisons - AND so am I. This sadistic one party fascist state commits Barbaric human rights violations and is condemned worldwide for it--happy or not.

  • @somuchsolittleful Well... you called me naive, and say that you know what you're saying about, but never been to a prison in Singapore. I no longer live in Singapore.... my international exposure tells me that Singapore is doing fine.

  • @oswald1973 I have NOT said that I have or have not been in or to a Singapore prison--It is YOU saying otherwise. Globally Singapore has become an outcast nation;rebuking international law. This government rules by fear with its archaic laws and barbaric penaltys always with the threat of beating males and its savage mandatory death penalty. Yes I am passionate about human decency and human rights violations in Singapore. It is clear the PAP is on the road to self-destruction.

  • @somuchsolittleful: they have to have a viable opposition. The opposition has to grow in strength and capability that can match the ruling party. Not any old joke on the street.... or the method we seen in Taiwan or Thailand. I'm not sure what you mean by inhumane punishment... but if one is proven guilty of their crimes, they should not live a decent life after that. What happened to those whom he killed or raped or affected? I have a personal friend who was hanged.....

  • @oswald1973

Opposition grows as long as a repressive government doesn't silence opposition with arrests, fines, jail (and caning if they so desire) Human Rights are universal whereby no one should be treated less than human. You do not beat animals and it is cruel, degrading and dehumanizing treatment tantamount to Torture to do so to a human being. The laws are unjust and biased toward males because of gender discrimination-There is so much wrong and nothing right with this.

  • @somuchsolittleful Human rights is not one single ideal, but a series and different level of ideals, so called the Maslow's hierarchy of needs. You suggest that all societies have to have even those on the tip, is simply naive.

  • @somuchsolittleful: he was hanged for drug trafficking... in any sense... I support his hanging... why? His drugs will affect another person's life. And Singapore is a small country. Becoming too passionate about human rights will draw away necessary attention from the real needs... the need to provide jobs and the need of Singaporeans. Don't commit crimes... and you'll be fine.
