Ok, what merit does that quote have? How do quotes like that deserve any respect?

I hate quotes that sound like they were written by emoish teenage girls. I would have a lot more respect for a wise quote that sounded like the person sat down and thought about what they were going to say before saying it. That's where real inspiration comes from...or at least, I thought so.

No, I hate Twilight because it lacks a plot, it's about a vampire who doesn't do ANYTHING vampires actually do (he glows glittery in the light? wtf?). Anyway, there are way more amazing quotes than the ones you find here.

Firstly, I find it funny that so many girls get mad at guys for being pigheaded, and saying they only care about one thing, YET a book like Twilight, which borderlines on being a softcore porn novel, spends the first two chapters going into great lengths describing Edward's glistening chiseled muscles, and spends no time mentioning his personality at all.

If I were to be implying anything by that quote, it would be that some opinions and ideas are worth vastly more than other people's opinions and ideas, because one person may sit down for a while, research what it is they're going to talk about, ponder the concept, and then come up with an intelligent answer to the question. Others however, just blather, then use insults when someone else's opinion differs from their own, and then conclude with an insult.

Hey, all I'm saying is that girls can be just as perverted as guys can, and Twilight proves it. Each of the sexes view themselves as being deep, mysterious and intelligent, but in the end, we're all as shallow as the celebs, as any of us would choose an attractive person over an unattractive one.

Also, I am not implying anything. I am merely stating things as I experience them. Perhaps the perspectives I got on the book are ones different than your own, because our experiences may vastly differ

"You must give your life to defend your dream"......nah, I'd rather be alive. Most of us don't have the kind of dream worth becoming a stiff over. 10/10 for intensity though. "Never take your words back"...mmm, never said anything you didn't mean?

In short, way too INTENSE and PREACHY and much too long. Gotta cater for the slow readers though, huh. Keep trying I am looking forward to your next effort :-)
