It's one thing to say 'Okay, we will unpeg our currency", but it's quite another if they will actually do the deed. Maybe they will merely let it float in a wider band and intervene as they see fit. Anyway, thanks for all these wonderful videos.
just leave it alone! its way too early to tell if Chinese Government would really not have further adiministritive Intewention, either way its their own decision! all about G20 isn't it.Just mind ur own business~
More detail would be good. How does China peg its currency? I have heard that they buy US government bonds. I wouldn't mind knowing how they make these trades to keep the exchange rate constant.
thanks...but what iam asking is :WHY DOES A GOVERNMENT FLOATS ITS CURRENCY?WHY DO SOME COUNTRIES PEG AND SOME COUNTRIES FLOAT THE CURRENCY...FOR EXAMPLE:IN RELATION TO U.S.A....INDIA HAS FLOAT ITS CURRENCY..SO 1 DOLLAR WILL GIVE U 48 0R 50 INDIAN RUPEES...WHY DOESN'T INDIA PEG ITS CURRENCY LIKE ALL THE GULF NATIONS?
AND ONE MORE THING..HOW IS PEGGING TO A BASKET OF CURRENCIES GOING TO HELP A COUNTRY?
@nicktm94 actually he did explained why countries peg..but didn't explained the hard part:why the hell they unpeg and float the currency?....and he should use a more suitable metaphor to explain it than by sailing boats!
@DUBAIDREAMZ6 Because pegging a currency can have an negative impact on the internal economy of a country. It modifies the inflation rate amongst other indicators.
what a ridiculous video
