Raimi doing the screenplay, Campbell producing and an estimated low-ish budget (14 million) are all good, the only question marks are over how the director will handle it (will he get the mix of horror and comedy right?) and whether Ash himself will be rescued from S-Mart hell to fight the good fight.

@WombleHunterB I think Raimi knows how to handle Evil Dead due to the critism he received from Army of Darkness. And the fact that he created it. Hes going to be applying film elements that weren't present to him 30 years ago, and i'm pretty excited to see more awesome cinematography. What really concerns me, is whether or not Campbell plays Ash, because it hasn't been confirmed. You can't have Evil Dead without Ash played by Campbell.
