Why should he shift? There was no need to shift...

There were some bends wich were possible at 2nd but not at 3rd. The next accelration and shifting follows on the next straight. Business as usual...

The Camera was attached to the RS as you can see, there was a suction device on the hood at 1:12 to the right of the headlight.

It is amazing how fast the GT3 RS revs. Even the regular GT3 997 revs incredibly fast, but with a lightened flywheel on the RS, it hits 8500 rpm before you can say Go!

He never has enough of a straight to require a shift into third.  You'd notice that if you paid attention to the road.

I'm thinking he's inexperienced enough to still think shifting up means more acceleration. In an engine like this, staying in low gears keeping the revs high is a good thing - not a bad thing.

It has enormous speed range in each gear revving up to 8800 rpm limit. He never needed to get to third since he did not need to get to those speeds.

very smart!if you drve in usa you probably take as many turns in a lifetime as we here in europe take in a week.there are turns you can gently accelerate in,turns you take with the pedal to the floor(awd care in particulary) and turns you don`t accelerate in.

Man this car is outrageous! What a sound. Sounds like an F1 car from the 70's. Amazing how fast it hits the rev limiter in 1st gear from the standing start @ 1:58. Truly awesome.
