I think you call this kind of footage time lapse, not high speed - High speed footage is were you film at frame rates greater than the normal playback of 24 - 30 fps.
The resulting (high speed) footage will need to be slowed down to play back at normal frame rates.

Hi. The HF100 can do between 6 frames/sec to 2000 frames/sec. It's an awesome camera!

2000 frames a sec? I think not... that's the shutter speed.

This is not true, you are talking about the shutter..
it does either 50i (50 interlaced frames per second) or PF25(25 progressive fps)
