killtheabsence, the Paper Mario series was 2D in a 3D world. That's exactly what you saw. As for wisey1wiseone, not all games for the Wii are completely motion sensors. Your going to hold it sideways to give it an NES feel. You may flick it every now and then for a special move or something, but it's not gonna be all movement.
It disappoints me a bit that it's in 2D. C'mon people, it's Paper *Mario*, not Paper World. I <3 sidescrollers, but let's say, for instance, that Nintendo decided to turn SSB into a first person game. No matter how GOOD, it wouldn't be right. I know it's not a huge change (all the battles were 2D anyway) yet it feels off. I plan to get this, but I just don't see why they made this change.

Hey man..the reason why the graphics sucked..is because they werent finished with the game. I know..rocket science huh? And plus uploading degrades the qaulity of a video..so that made it more worse. And everyone..it is being released for the Wii.
it IS FOR THE Wii, people! it got delayed so much they decided to move it to another platform... I kinda feel bad for everybody who wanted to play it and not buy the Wii, though... cause the Wii can still play gamecube games...
anyways, you guys should get the Wii anyways, since it's gonna be fucking amazing...

it was kinda a let down though, I liked the first two better.
but one thing I never understood was the music in this trailer! It's nowhere in the game... that I know of at least. And it sounds so awesome!
