I'm almost tempted to say that this is the worst Bond ever, both in terms of lead actor, plot, song - just about everything! Daniel Craig is not James Bond by any possible stretch of the imagination. He's fine for a supporting role but 007 he is not. Craig seems so bewildered and sheepish about his new job that he plays Bond in a monosyllabic way more akin to Jason Statham than 007. BTW, I've got the paperback Pan books of the 50s, and Bond never looks like Daniel Craig on the cover!!!!!!!

Gibson is purely action movie material, he has potential on the screen aside from killing people. Casino Royale demonstrated Craig's abilities being a Bond who actually falls in love, a feat none of the other Bonds have ever been allowed to do. And both of his love interests in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace are strong women. You may not like Craig but the progress for the women in Bond films in slowly occurring.

What are you talking about? From what I understood, there were still plenty of Quantum members on the loose, which seemed like it was implying there would be another movie.

To be honest, I found this Bond hard to follow. The plot was discombobulated to me and any substance that was there was hard for me to perceive. Overall it seemed more to glorify the action over the story. I can't even say it was good or bad because I still don't know what to make of it. Well, at least Craig was refreshing.

I used to look forward to the new Bond films as they opened and have even been lucky enough to go to a few Royal premieres in London but I have to say this latest picture is an absolute dissapointment - everything special with a 007 movie that made them unique has gone. Bond is now a 2nd rate thug and the movie itself is badly put together and zero plot and awful bland characters. The famous Bond theme is almost non-existant until the end where you get an amateur version of the gunbarrel - 3/10.
