  • just for n e one tryin to learn this :- ull notice it sounds out of time thats cuz if u listen to the song ull notice u dont play the run down F Fsharp G before the G chord (just go from Cchord to Gchord) also for the riff to sound right u have to hammer on the D E F (after the Am chord) cheers

it's very easy to learn it becaus you explain it so well.

rhis lesson is much better than al the other lessons.

  • Tanks dude you rock! :P

  • he plays songs on electric cuz electric is much easier than acoustic.

  • good stuff mate best teacher ive had

  • You shoudl start playing with an acoustic guitar .

I love your lessons ... but it would b alot better if you were playing it acoustic , like I am haha

  • you rock n,`roll

  • Cheers man one best lessons iv had cause only just started playin. thanks man.

  • U like no woman no cry cover? Im that poor that i cant afford a good cam or mike... but I can play the guitar. -.-

  • Excellent...right to the point. thanks

Just a hint note: One thing that helps get it up to speed is the changing from the G to the A minor. Keep the G chord shape for the first note for the 'A' and then barely move again one fret for the next two notes. This helps to keep time and get to the A minor which is instinctive if one played for any length of time.

  • I s their anyway you can write the chords down for me as i am an absolute beginner

  • First is a C, 3 fret 5th string, 2nd fret 4th string, 1 fret 2nd string.

    Second is G. 3 fret 6th string, 2nd fret 5th string 3rd fret 1st string.

    Third is A minor. 2nd fret 4th string, 2nd fret 3rd string, 1st fret 2nd string.

  • YOU ROCK!

That was as easy as a potato...

  • that was good as dude, i learnt it in a couple of minutes thanx heaps :)

  • all of your lessons are rlly good and i wanted to say thx for posting these up.

the one thing thats wrong with this tho is that when you walk up the 1-2-3 on the low E string ur repeating the g note too many times

i love these lessons cz it has all the right notes and rhythms so keep posting them!

  • really nice dude :D, btw what are you saying in the begining? sounds like something in swedish lol :P however really nice lesson :D

  • awesome! =) You explain it PERFECTLY, thanks!

  • aight, u need to play "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria. i would love you. lol jk.

    but it would be kool.

  • your an amazing teacher! thanks so much for posting your lessons!! you've been a great help!!

  • yes, yes he is.

  • big up mate learnin me my old skills you know your stuff

  • thanks so much u made it so easy

could u do bubble toes, taylor or inaudible melodies by jack johnson plz

  • Thanks

Is there a rating above 5 out of 5...you deserve it.

I like tunes that have a notes walk up (or down) to the chord. One can add a bit of variety by playing with the walk. I'm always looking out for these tunes.

You'd never make a politician...you are too clear and precise in expressing an idea.

    A big appreciation from Canada.

  • This video tutorial was brilliant! Most are incredibly long winded and alot are hard to follow, this way excellent. Someone has said "in the voice of a 70s BBC newsreader" below. I think more a young James Maye, but thats no bad thing :p just my two cents.

    Excellent video!

    Ben K.

  • your a fantastic teacher!!!! keep up the good work and gimme more!!!

  • Hey buddy, great job on the lesson as with all your lessons. quick correction if you don't mind...and i've watched the video about 3 times to see it and I think i'm right, but who knows. the small little riff on the D...you play it differently from the way you teach it. You Play it open-2-3-3-2-2 THEN hit the C note. but you teach it as:

open-2-3-3-2-Cnote. missing the last 2? dunno, just seemed to be off. great job on the lessons! if i come to bristol, i want to visit and jam with you!

  • I kinda hear 2-3-3-2-0 , maybe not.
