I use the clear version of the Steinheil screen protector and I personally think it's great. I also bought the Silke case after it was brought to my attention through this video review and I must admit I'm very impressed with it. Best case I've ever come across in my opinion. Another screen protector I'd highly recommend is Boxwave (I think it's called 'Ultra crystal' or something), they also have an anti-glare version too but I prefer the Crystal one as it's optically superior.

The iPhone 4s screen is anything but scratch proof or even resistant. I've had a screen shield on every single one of my phones and all don't have scratches. The first day i get my iphone i couldn't find a screen shield so for 3 days i went bare. After being extremely careful i still got 2 slight scratches on the screen near the home button. I mean really Apple. Please make something that looks nice and at least can survive some use.

I'm going to give it another shot, one with a dry install and another with a wet if the dry doesn't look good. Got any tips? Or ideas how long it might take to look better after application?

I've used a range of cases and protectors for various devices I've used and created (my minePhone (iPhone shell, Linux OS, various other guts) and numerous handheld gaming systems) and I've always been a fan of the "greasy" feeling cases, mostly because they're clear, and I prefer the super-slick feeling to anything I have.

@Blunty3000: Just have to be careful of the type of touch screen your using. Some have a multilayer design with a tiny gap (primarily "resistive" types). Be really slloooowwwww and careful peeling the film off or you'll damage the touch device. Capacitive types are usually not so sensitive.

Heh, I used to hate those screenprotectors as well. I used to have one of the brand Hori on my old first gen Nintendo DS. Of what I can see, it´s similar to the one applied to the Samsung in this review and it looks awful. I got one with my iFrogz case for my iPhone 3G last year and didn´t apply it until last month and I can honestly not tell I have one on, except for the hole near the phone speaker. It´s great and has kept my screen nice and scratchfree.

What is your all time favorite iPhone 4 case that you've tried? We seem to share the same annoyances with a bunch of things, so I figure I'd ask. Right now I'm using an Apple Bumper with an Invisible Shield Protector thing on the back. I feel decently protected with it, but not protected enough. I'd like to have a case that actually covers the back. I hate cases that make buttons/mute hard to use and cases that make it fat. Thanks!

hey blunty, i have an invisibleshield for my iphone. its made from the same nano-memory polymer the military use to protect helicopter blades. it's a wet application, but the air bubbles work themselves out with usage. I'd like to suggest that you at least check it out because id like to know the opinion of someone who at least knows what they're on about.

the samsung screen protector has got my hooked. i want it. when i first got my phone and waiting on delivery of a protector, i got an a4 sheet sleeve thingy and cut and wrapped it around my phone.. silly i know. BUT the texture was fantastic (it was anti glare/matte finish) and it was AMAZING to use. and when you out the sgp one on, it looked exactly like it. i want it! thank you for doing this vid.

really, whats the point of a screen protector when its gorillaglas? I used to have one for my ipod touch until I realized that the protector itself got scratched and when remvoed, the glass was supertouch and never got a single mark.

Same goes for my new Galaxy S, youd need something like a chermic knife to scratch it, I dont see the point really. Apple has the same stuff, atleast if they´re as touch as the old ipod touch, which they prob are.

I am fail with putting on screen protectors. I got my Belkin iPhone 4 case free from Apple even though I live in Brisbane and don't have "antennagate" issue(s). It's a 100% clear hard case. I like it cause the rubber ones get slightly stuck in my pocket, whereas the hard plastic one doesn't.

Great video mate, even though I had to use my iPhone 4's 3G cause we're over our 50gigs of data. So the video quality was compromised, but you're video's are worth it!

The screen protector I have on my ipad is actually really bad. No matter how scratch resistance it is it loses its glass feel and its actually more resistance which sort of makes it useless. Will look into these products

This helped alot i just got a iphone 4 and have been looking around for different screen protectors and cases and all the many different types had me confused. I like the smoothness of the anti glare/fingerprint screen protector but it does change the look of the screen slightly. I got a hard plastic case for my iphone and its working pretty gud, i have a silicon one for my ipod touch and it always annoys me coz the edges always pop out when i take it out of my pockets etc. Heaps gud review!

The bubble on the side of the first application of the Galaxy S and the ipad was an alignment issue not a screen protector issue... Has happened to me too, the edge around my screen is ever so slightly raised hence the bubble or gap as the protector bends up away from the screen.
