I must say this app was incredibly helpful. I've had so many problems in bed with my girlfriend where we just couldn't see anything. Now all I do is whip out my iphone 4, turn on strobe pro and put on see through mode, and I know where everything is and where everything goes. Its true, you just cant imagine all the practical applications of this application.
@AfroN1nj4 No not at all. That's one of the reasons it took apple forever to approve this. They did actual tests with my app, and determined that the LED flash will not die out within the normal lifetime of the phone (2-3 years). If you know anything about LEDs, you'd know that they last a LONG time, with an extremely small amount of needed power.
Even though the app will be available within a day or two, would anyone like to BETA- test it? Just send me your iPhone 4's UUID, and your E-Mail address in a PM!!
@dsneid Well if you have an iPhone 4 now, I'd love to test out Ad-Hoc distribution myself. If you can give me your device UUID, I can send you over a copy to your E-Mail. If you want, just PM me. All that I ask is that you please share this app with your friends/co-workers!
My buddy has a strobe app on his android phone that does the random strobe and we used it in a hotel room in AC when we were pregaming. Random strobing is much easier on the eyes than constant, repetative strobing. :)
I'm waiting for someone to program a 'random strobe' feature that for example in your app, randomly cycle through the modes (I.e. Fast > slow > medium > slow > really fast > fast > medium, etc)
@Verm1n Hey, thanks for the concern. For some odd reason, in this video, I kept turning one switch off before turning another on. But in fact, I programmed it so that only one switch can be on at a time. So if you have the "slow" switch on, and tap the "fast" switch, the "slow" switch will first turn off.
@pub1tzu Thanks a lot...I spent a lot of time perfecting it, and I hope you like it...Anyone can subscribe, and I'll be giving away 30 copies once it gets on the AppStore

Instead of four on/off switches what about a speed slider with 4 positions?
GrandSwiss 1 year ago
@GrandSwiss Yeah, I am already working on that for a future update. It's just a bit more complicated than implementing the switches

It looks like just what I need for some photos on patients in my medical office that require a strobe.

@ambo33 What would be the purpose of that?? If you think it can come in handy for some reason, I can certainly do it.
johnhmeyer123 1 year ago
Why did you use 4 switches instead of a slider for adjusting the speed?
What happens if you have more than one switch on?
