Though no american wrestler can even hold a candle in that respect to the kenta kobashi and the late mitsuhara misawa. Those have the more 5-star matches by Dave Meltzer's (very respected name for match ratings). Flair only had 6 total, Bret and hbk had two apiece. Misawa and kobashi have 24 and 23 respectively.

I havent been following wrestling recently, but I saw a match last night in which the Big Show was knocking everyone down in one punch that appeared to have no power in it, and the angling was bad so it came off campy. In order to see if it was new camera work or just Show, Jericho and Cena getting old, I compared this match to the WM25 one. This one is better by all accords, ignoring the fact that this is a specialty match and the other was not.
Damn...HBK just kept going and going...that probably made whatever happened with that casket worse. That's one of the great what ifs, would their be an Austin era? What would've happened with HHH?

Shawn's back was already nagging him at this point and when he took the bump over the ropes and he hit the side of the casket, he did not feel anything at the moment. But the next day or two he woke up and could'nt move untill the ambulance came and he was fixed up for wm 14.

when undertaker caught Michaels at 6:24 was very nice... Michaels is bout 225 lbs so thats kinda hard when your not expecting it.. wwf in the late 90's wasnt staged so taker didnt even know what to do next.

@rockster0987 while it was still impressive there's no way hbk was really 225. Arnold schwarzenegger was 250 in Terminator..I'm 6' 1 average build and I'm 175. HBK has stick legs and granted a built torso and arms. So he's 190 at best.

@dsgbmatt true, but hbk is 6'0. 3 inches is typically a whole different weight class. WWE is no to exaggerate wrestler's weight to sensationalize them and make them seem larger than life. You're right, it's different for every person... but hbk is def. not near 225.

I havent been following wrestling recently, but I saw a match last night in which the Big Show was knocking everyone down in one punch that appeared to have no power in it, and the angling was bad so it came off campy. In order to see if it was new camera work or just Show, Jericho and Cena getting old, I compared this match to the WM25 one. This one is better by all accords, ignoring the fact that this is a specialty match and the other was not.

No there wouldn't have been, it woulda changed the entire future of wrestling. HBK was THAT big at this time, he was invincible, untouchable, he was truely a wrestling god. When was the last time you've heard J.R. call a wrestler without question or hesitation 'the greatest WWF champion in history'? Never.
However without this incident would HBK even have a future? It's a rather ironic fate.
