can remember the last hip hop album i bought. Probably blue scholars or pete philly and perquisit. Any samples used were so obscure i would not recognise them anyway. But.... I can real off a hundred top ten tracks from the 50s up that would make a great tune. Unless i could make it better or add something also worthy of sampling by someone else i would not bother.

If he already got the samples chopped, time stretched, and spread out over the pads how could he be makin a beat in 20 minutes? It had to take quite a bit of time to prep the samples and find the right drums and so on b 4 he layed this down. Do another vid showin the whole process from scratch. Bet the real time is more like a couple of hours.

Dude....I dont use my mpc for sampling........ I dont sample(songs), i sequence my keys.... thats wut i use it for...... and of course drums but i usually make my own drum sample.... (why, i dont know but it makes me happy)(ha)....
