CCXR is optimized for Swedish E100 fuel. Knowing the quality of Russian fuel ... I'm amazed it still manages to move :) CCXR is nowhere near it's max potential here, 311 kph shows way less power than 1024 hp. More like below 700. There's always factor of very bad driver. Z06 claimed 700 horses seem to be working fine here. Btw new Agera R should do 1100hp.

1024 hp going to the rear wheels is probably the most likely culprit. Probably struggled to gain traction. Same happened in those TT Ford GT vids, that thing never really hooked up until the race was damn near finished.
The Koenigseg didn't launch to give the Vette a chance. It made for a close race. We all know the Z06 isn't really even considered a super car. The CCXR is considered a hyper car. It was a good race, but if the CCXR launched at all it wouldn't have been close. Love both cars though.
@MichaelTx361 most supercars run slower in the 1/4 mile than you would expect, but 12.4 does seem really slow, a 12.3 is also slow for a stock z06 though, not to mention a s/c one.

@jvhornsby sportscar and markets it as a 'supercar' and it isn't at least on par in most performance categories as the C6Z06 it's a mockery. There is a difference between the 'supercar' moniker and 'exotic'. Some cars lay claim to both, some cars are even dubbed 'hypercars'. The C6Z06 isn't exotic but it is certainly a supercar.

CCXR is optimized for Swedish E100 fuel. Knowing the quality of Russian fuel ... I'm amazed it still manages to move :) CCXR is nowhere near it's max potential here, 311 kph shows way less power than 1024 hp. More like below 700. There's always factor of very bad driver. Z06 claimed 700 horses seem to be working fine here. Btw new Agera R should do 1100hp.

@MichaelTx361 Gotta remember though, horsepower isn't everything. It's got to have a good transmission to get that power to the pavement. And who knows, the corvette maybe lighter than the ccxr. Corvettes cannot be under estimated, they can hang with the big boys quite well.

1024 hp going to the rear wheels is probably the most likely culprit. Probably struggled to gain traction. Same happened in those TT Ford GT vids, that thing never really hooked up until the race was damn near finished.

The Koenigseg didn't launch to give the Vette a chance. It made for a close race. We all know the Z06 isn't really even considered a super car. The CCXR is considered a hyper car. It was a good race, but if the CCXR launched at all it wouldn't have been close. Love both cars though.

@MichaelTx361 most supercars run slower in the 1/4 mile than you would expect, but 12.4 does seem really slow, a 12.3 is also slow for a stock z06 though, not to mention a s/c one.

@MichaelTx361 I completely disagree looking at the facts, ive watched all the CCXR races and it didnt do the km/h or better time than this particular Z-06, the most the CCXR did was 316km/h, Z-06 320km/h ( these are the facts, it is a possibility the CCXR needs a drive mod, but a stock Z does 10.s in the 1/4 with a good driver and great shift points
