If you want to take the stray inside I would be really interested in knowing what it thinks about your dog because in my experience stray cats and dogs don't usually make the best of friends.

@Bombodil Yeah, we're curious about that. They kind of ignore each other in the garden, sometimes when the dog gets too close, the stray cat will smack him but he never backs down :) They can tolerate each other for now. The stray seems curious about the dog though and will rub up against him from behind the window. Perhaps they'll be friends soon :)

OMG, you scared me, I thought my Emory got loose and you found him and renamed him Charlie. He looks just like yours and he play fights with ME. I think of him as my Kato, as in the Pink Panther. I'll walk by a door way and he'll run out and jump at me front paws batting at my legs (claws in). He also likes to walk all over me at night and often when I wake up he's right there, 15 cm away, staring at me. He's a real climber and jumper too.

And funny Belgian cats, here in the Netherlands when a cats tail is thick he is angry and when the cat waves (couldn't find a better word and Google Translate suggested brush) his tail he is angry or "sad" but to be honest it seems they have fun.

@777Semper Thanks!! :) His tail is always that thick though, he has really thick fur (he's also a bit of a fatty). Yeah, he never seems to be angry or sad at Ricky, they both go at it frequently, but always very playfully. I think 'wagging' is the word used for when a cat/dog moves its tail around.
