I bought this in late 1993 when I was 13 for the Commodore Amiga. I was so addicted to it, I would often neglect doing school homework and go to bed far to late. When I look back, I can't help but think how shit my life was then and it's not much better now to be honest.

Wow, my favourite flight sim of all time!

Even though I played many other flight sims with modern Geforce cards but this is still one of my favourites that hook me for so long on the then 486!

Can it really play on the XP?

I especially like to play the world war one duel!

It's really so long ago. I think it was even in 1993 when the game was launched. The fights were really quite funny. When make a comparison with the games from nowadays, it's really unbelievable. But thanks for putting these nostalgic screenshots on youtube.

We played this at school, installed it in the computers stealthily and we thought it was the shit!

can't shoot anything (cannons) without the auto-aim though... too hard and fiddly... I can do it on modern sims though

@marianopicco Cannons were a pain in the ass! The sim didn't have any lead-computing sights and estimating range with those graphics was next to impossible when it looked like you were just shooting dots into another dot!

lol i can't believe i still have this thing, a cd from 1995...its sooo full of scratches and it still works even on windows XP hah amazing too bad graphics makes me puke but if someone would make the same game with muuuch better graphics and sound(for todays hardware) it would be cool

I totally agree, I have thought of that many many times, my first and best proper war flight sim been playing it since it came out and I was 11. Closest thing for me now is CFS3 + expansion. Dogfight kick ass
