The SCAR is actually going to be used for Special Forces where as the acr will replace the m4 and m16 down the road. But even then I garuntee we will see the m4 and m16 still being used for a long time.

The Americans and Russians are clever,they still use traditional assault rifles,whereas other countries like China and Australia are adopting stupid "Bullpup" systems which are horrible to handle.

A replacement for the M16/M4? I thought the FN SCAR was selected for that? By the way, this rifle seems to have the same butt stock as the FN SCAR.

youre right the fn scar is suppose to replace the m16 series but its odd that even after accepted in 2006 they still haven't. Also no one not a show or an expert of any kind as ever mentioned the FN SCAR. Its rarely mentioned anywhere.
