The brand of Taylor is his first signature guitar its the one you always see him play on stage. It is the Dave Matthews Signature 914ce and Taylor just reproduced another model based off this model called the DMSM with has all the same sound and styling of this model but has "GRUX" inlaid at the bottom of the next to the body of the guitar. both models retail for about $4000 but the particular model that Dave is playing is no longer in production it was only had a limited run.

@MikeMurray1311 the guitar he's playing in this video is actually a 714. you can tell by the western red cedar top. also not a "ce"..."ce" means cutaway electric...no cutaway...although this particular guitar does have a fishman undersaddle pickup.
