@thiacanadian its due to the resolution on the screen... the sgsII is a new device with a resolution that wasnt out when this was last updated.... thats causing the issue. if someone could recompile and tweak the file to support the resolution than it should work

@thiacanadian most likely you are facing that issue due to the screen resolution not being supported since this was made originally when the original evo and samsung galaxy s were the newest devices out.

@androidguy221 than you wouldnt have the ability for live wallpapers. it comes as an option in android 2.2 froyo. id look to see that you have the newest firmware update on your device or look into rooting and custom roms.

hey dude i got problem getting it can u help me step by step...email me...i got an mytouch 4g...i downloaded the file(it opened with winzip...ok so i put my SD card on the computer there are 8 files that says this (Ch, com, competiton, meta-inf, res , android manifest, classes. dex, and resources .arcs. they show they same thing on my phone when i open it with andro zip...which file do i open to see the wallpaper..?

@HoustonRocket281 sounds like you are trying to extract the apk file itself. when you download this from spj or xda you will need an apk file. if it is zipped extract the apk file only and than place that in the root of your storage card. once on there navigate to where you placed the file and than click on it... all i can really say without seeing what you are exactly looking at. let me know if that helps ya or if you need further assistance. for fast responses check out smartphonejunkie

@goSDChargers21 thats the stock apps.... the twitter is the htc sense stock widget and the facebook is the stock one.... currently im still using the stock facebook app and for twitter i am using plume and couldnt be happier.

@awsomebeast100 tell me the steps that you went through. you have to install the apk to your phone and than once you have it installed you go to settings/wallpapers/live wallpapers/ and than you choose it from the list.. is that what you are doing?

@daonejorge depends on what you are using it for... what are your main uses from the phone? do you need a slideout keyboard? do you like the larger screen? do you like the clarity of the samsungs screen or the hummingbird processor for better graphics? do you like htc better than samsung? a weighted phone better than a light one? the shift doesnt even have a 1ghz processor like the others either... lots of factors that you have to weigh out

@urahara300 please look through the comments already.. you download using the link in the description below the video. once you have downloaded the newest version of the apk file form that link you connect your phone as a disc drive and than drag thr apk file to your storage card. now disconnect your phone from the pc and use your favorite file explorer to navigate to where you put the file. click and install and than choose live wallpapers form the wallpaper menu and you will see it.

By 'Phone' I mean at the bottom of the screen where your menu has a circle with a triangle in it then Phone in the middle then + on the other side. Mine has about 5 little icons that are too cluttered. Was wondering what app, or whatever you'd call a whole menu system, it is! Thanks for your reply.
