Actually, the tank doesn't outrun the survivors. A survivor with above 40% health can outrun the tank, 40 or under, the tank will outrun their limping.

The tank is actually slower than the survivors if they are in green health and he isn't on fire, in campaign at least in versus fire slows the tank down.

2 more tips, with the autoshotty try to shoot till you have 1 bullet left in the clip, you get a MUCH faster reload time (dont have to cock the gun) and if your mates down and being punched theres no point trying to save them unless the tanks is on the 1st punch or anytime before that.

1:03 in this case, the tank could outrun only bill, butwhat he said about speed is wrong, the tank is a lil bit Slower then a healthy survivor, not faster, but on fire (on campaign mode) the tank runs alot faster, not even a healthy survivor can escape that speed unless its shooting like hell against it

if he wanted to mention the speed on fire he shudve mentioned that when he said the tank runned faster...

it actually applies to any A.I. controlled tank. An immolated tank in campaign does get a larger boost in speed than an A.I. tank in versus though (tank roughly doubles in speed when on fire in campaign). Player controlled tanks in versus get no speed boost from fire. I have no idea about survival mode.

Damaging a tank always slows it down regardless of the mode, so in versus you should always try to light it up, AI or Player, as long as you are going to shoot it it doesn't matter.

As long as they have high enough health.

But I think anything under 50% (Not Green) is too slow and you can be caught.

The tank can always throw objects though.

It's so easy to do, but the problem is somebody on the survivor team always runs away. If all 4 people concentrate all fire on the Tank, it goes down quickly. (Granted, if your being attacked by other sources, it can get difficult.)

simplest way ive found is to use watever u can (gas can - molotov etc) to get the tank in flames

once this happens the tank has a timer of about 2minutes i think from memory before he burns to death. this is ofc not much fun BUT it works if your the last remaining survivor - just run around until timer is up :D

Burning the tank down gives him a speed boost, but also - he'll die in about 40 seconds even if you won't shoot him... So in some blocky maps it's safer to "bunr'n'run" tank than to fight it.

The Tank doesn't run faster then the survivors unless he's on fire.

THe Computer cuts corners when playing as the tank and that's why it appears faster then you.

and The fakeout for the rock tross really don't work well on expert. It's best to hide behind a poll, wall or bus to avoid the rocks.
