  • Looks just like my BBV3 on my driveway!

  • well.. my hovercraft doesn't have a lift engine.. there's only the trust engine.. a rotax bombardier 500cc 2 strokes for 50HP..the only problem is the noise..too loud..anyway i was thinkin' about building a new one..new project, new engine..approximatly how fast is your hc?

  • 45mph 75kph checked by GPS. But its more about speed, maneuverability and acceleration, where we go I hardly ever go flat out. Separate lift engine's the way to go. Once at speed you just float on with no thrust. My other vids show my cruising craft on the med and my race craft when I crashed it. Small, only 30hp thrust 5 hp lift, big 110cm ducts, but very quiet. My cruise craft is the quietest design in the UK at 78db. Just check out the HCGB web site for all the info and the suppliers.

  • wow.. that's much better than mine.. yeah, i got an hovercraft too.. but your's is better i think.. how many HP does it have?

  • Sorry not to reply sooner, been at the world champs in Sweden. These BBV3 three seaters have a 13hp lift engine under the bonnet and a 55hp Nissan Micra engine for thrust, but these are quite old craft, the new BBV4 goes much better and with only 35hp thrust.

  • I definitely want one of those for Christmas!! Where was it filmed?

  • The location is the River Severn, just inland from the Bristol Channel and upstream from the Severn Bridges in the UK. I hope you have been a good boy and that Santa puts his order in with us on time for christmas.
