Regardless of how you interpret some comics and try to throw up some sarcastic dirt, the U.S can afford that ability while in a figurative manner G.B cannot. believe me, if G.B withdrew support for the US, we would still be able to maintain our profile whereas if we backed out from supporting you, your pretty much screwed. As for your reply on deterrents...what are you smoking? Citing some bases and claiming the point as a reference is just idiotic and again, we house and provide most of the tech you use for your own country's defense. Ascension Island is used by the US as an emergency runway for the shuttle as well as a vital comms link due to being on the equator . Gibraltar or Cyprus naval , bases , if we kicked you out you'd be fucked. We dont need your assistance its the government that think we do.
