Excuse me if I gush a little. I've been watching StillJreming's videos since I happened across his version of 'Trouble in Mind'. I've just gotta say, I love the song choices, the guitar, the voice, and mostly the way he sings. The tone is just perfect, with just the right amounts of pain and, more importantly, restraint. This guy's music is the perfect antidote to so much of the over-affected, crazy trilling that's heard so often on those 'reality' shows.

The Chris Thomas King version is the one that stands out for me phrasing and melody wise, but I think you nail the Skip James feel. The inflections you throw out are that of a true blues player. I enjoyed watched watching it, thanks.

The people that wrote and played Blues during that time were'nt just playing the Blues, they were actually living the Blues, and today I play the Blues in memory of all the hardships those early African Americans went through.
