Wonderful work velvetgoldmine82. Look forward to seeing the pics too. Yusuf always gives us something to think about. When he did his narrative bit he talked about the Odyssey, which he admitted not having actually read. However, he did mention a philosopher called Eckhart, to whom he referred to in relation to the song 'The Wind'. Maybe, the longer standing Yusuf/Cat Stevens fans will enlighten me. Whatever, Yusuf was just inspirational.

I think this song reflects on his near drowning experience and new perspective on life. This event lead him to his change of lifestyle from my understanding.

yeah he setup a scene with a story about his near death experience and about life then went into this song at the coffee table, this is currently my fave song by him, i'm totally bummed i didn't catch the whole thing!
