  • WHAT A GREAT SOUND !!

  • Sounds so good.

  • I love watching this short clip! I am rebuilding a 1972 Bonnie' 650 at the moment that I found in a garage on the Isle of Man - taken apart to repaint the frame and never put back together. I've never ridden a bonnie' before, but haviong discovered this - I cannot wait! The sound under acceleration is classic.

  • Well done. I agree that the sound of the bike is much better than some music for the video.

  • Nice work. Beautiful mellow sound. How did you record this without any wind noise?

  • I love the looks, sound and feel of this Triumph! Makes me want to go out and find a '69 Bonnie! Great video, I watch it over and over.

  • Absolutely fantastic video. Very nice.

  • I have a Honda VFR800FIY, which sounds lovely, for a modern motorcycle, but one of the most delightful sounds in the world, is an old 650 Triumph under acceleration or cruising along. Best music by far..! And like the other bloke said, nice quick gear changing too, and the kick starting was very impressive. Barely swung the leg and she started..! Seeing that video makes you wonder... does one need more..? An old Trumpet is definitely for the enthusiastic, but perhaps a Hinkley one for everyday.?

  • Cool! nice shiifting too!

  • This would have to be a 66 and you just made me sad and happy at the same time, sad that I did not keep a couple of these that I had In my youth and happy that they are still being ridden and enjoyed.

  • This would have to be a 66

  • that`s probably the best sounding bike ever!

  • If they would make that exact bike again they wouldn't be able to keep up with the demand. I don't care how many bikes are faster, handle better or brake faster the early Triumph's and BSA's have them all beat on class.

  • Lovely... that sound is probably only beaten by a Rolls Royce Merlin.

  • my favorite bonneville of all! sweet!

  • Rigtig fed video.!

Thumps up, jeg vil oz ha en Bonnie, blot en ny

  • Total fed video der!! Hvad er den optaget med?

Jeg vil have mig en af de nye triumph Bonnies

  • now thats a motorcycle.

  • What a jewel!

Handling, shocks, beauty - what a superb bike.

Where did you get the handlebar - stock?

  • Denne video (onboard 1 og 2) er helt klart en af mine favoritter på youtube. Håber snart der kommer en til. Jeg kører selv bonneville t120r fra 1970.

  • they dont make them like that no more

  • i want that bike sooo bad! too bad insurance for an 18 year old is so pricy :(

  • Excellent video, and what a beautiful sound!

  • Awesome video. A nice virtual substitute while I wait out Winter to ride my Bonnie again.

    Cheers

  • Yeah!! Sounds sweet 'cos there's no crappy music!! Thanks for the video. You're lucky to have such a nice bike! Enjoy it ! Cheers

  • Jamen vi glæder os da til at se næste upload...Dejlig lyd. Hvordan har du undgået vindstøjen?

  • So glad you let us hear your bike and not some lame rapper

  • Great sounding motor.

  • Sounds great,, cool ride,, British bikes are making a comeback.

  • nice.how did u cancel out the darn wind noise? i wanna c the whole bike. thanx 4 posting.

  • gran moto e complimenti per il video!

  • I envy you =S I want to ride that Triumph!!!

  • Nice torque. The bonneville always was a good runnin' Bike!

  • Brilliant sound! Love your bike. My BSA used to sound like that until some thieving mongrel took it. Who'd spend a fortune on a new bike when the old ones are as good as this? Don't they go well when they are carefully assembled and lovingly maintained!

    2997v8

  • Excellent video. Thanks for the ride!

    JG

  • Hvem vinker du til?

  • That Triumph is running sweet Im 58 and spent my life loving motorcycles,I have owned many Brit bikes they make you smile when your riding

  • This would be the best dry frame Bonneville video I've seen. Great sound quality and having owned 2 650 Bonnevilles and several other trumpies., this is about as good as it gets without actually riding one. Thanks, Sean.

  • Thanks for the video! Awesome bike, engine sound!

  • I wish the new bonnie sounded that good.

  • This seems like I'm on the bike...nice mellow sound too. I love it!

  • Sounds Good.

  • I miss my 1970 Tiger. . what a great handling bike it was. . Thanks for the post.

  • A VERY COOL VID! ALMOST DREAMLIKE, QUITE SURREAL.

  • Vi venter med spænding! Super oplevelse- og tak for en video uden muzak.

  • Thanks to all of you for your nice comments.

I'm planning to make a new video with this Bonnie soon.

    So stay tuned.

    Kind Regards

    Kim Bisgaard

    Denmark

  • @bisgaardmotors How well does this accelerate ? say compared to a new bonneville ? just wondering..

  • @bisgaardmotors sounds great got the lovly throaty sound of a typical triumph and well maintained !!!! no tappet noise remeber triumphs dont leak oil they mark there teritory lol i have a metisse with a 1955 T100 MOTOR nice bikes ! triumphs

  • This makes me miss my 1969 so badly I may go crazeeee! Bless you for posting this nectar for us old Beatniks.....one seldom hears the most gorgeous exhaust note on the planet anymore! Loved hearing you go through the gears... four-speed on yours, right? Also, your color scheme is a lot different than USA export. Johnny Driver taught me how to tune a BONNIE so that it would take gas like it had an accelerator pump... 40 degrees full advance and proper valve lash. You won't be sorry....

  • @sitarnut crazy of us to always get rid of the things we love the most isnt it lol. i hear so many people talk about their old cars and bikes and always regret getting rid of them. oh well, atleast you had an awsome bike, i havent had a bike yet but always wanted one. i really want a royal enfield, i know their top speed isnt that high but i really like those bikes, triumphs are awsome too. I love the english enginuity in motorcycles, they make pretty bikes!

  • Thanks for a nice clip. This is one of the best clips from the motorcycle that I've seen here, the sound is fantastic, the right one ... I enjoy when I watch and listen...

My kids often play as if they drive and they have super fun.

    Once again, thank you ...

  • Time says the need to make better is a must. How could it get better than this. Nice ride my friend !!

  • That's how we used to ride them!

  • enjoyable video.....I sold my third and last 1966 T120r three years ago.....it never leaves your body but I'm getting a bit old and it's time to move on...Thanks !

  • Thanks for sharing! It was a nice ride!

  • Beautiful resto, beautiful sound, Good to hear someone do a decent gear change as well - something of a lost art these days.

You're got the bike, you're got the camera - take us for a ride in the country.

  • Very smooth sound and beautiful two tone color.

  • Superb bike and the it sounds so good!

One of the best videos on u-tube!!

  • Very Nicely done, have to do that with some of my old stuff sometime.

  • Gawd what a beautiful sound thank you for not f''king up the vid with crappy music!!!

  • Ive got a nice Vulcan 750 in the garage, but i still am gonna get an older bonny,

I was gonna get a Norton Commando, but too few of them around, and wayyyy too pricey for what they are,

  • Awesome! Thanks for the ride.

  • That is a beautiful vintage Trumpet...I have the retro Bonneville ( 2005 Bonnie Black ) and I love mine...I swear mine sounds just like that!

  • Oh my god the joys of youth

  • the best bonneville i ever rode was an unrestored 1966 model, responsive and it just wanted to go!, not great in traffic...your bike reminds me of that ride, great bike, thanks for the "ride"...

  • You jusy made shed a tear I want my youth again. my first motorcycle was a five month old secondhand 67 hand triumph

  • vroom

  • Love your bike!

  • thanks for the ride, I'll be back.

  • im a harley guy/collector. nice bike. run circles around the hds from that era.

  • Sweet!

  • purrs like a kitten at idle! open up the throttle and it comes alive like a tiger! nice!

  • got to love the classics

  • ça serait mon reve d'en conduire une !!! parce qu'avec ma derbi 50 2 temps c'est pas le meme son ni le meme plaisir!

  • sounds great mate. lovely bike. i wish we had nice empty roads like that in england.

  • Wow!

  • Hi, great video, I have been trying to mount cam in same position as you show and your sound is sheilded from wind ........... do you mind to give me some tips on your set up .... you made it? or out of the box, I see there are kits you can buy on web, I had a 80's Bonnie and video sure brings back that Jagugar of motorcyles feel the Brits produced ..... I have a 47 T Speed Twin I will do some vids on ........ cheers Lucian

  • this is for sure the one good thing the Uk did for us

  • Great bike excellent nick and sounds really sweet.

Loads better roads around to ride a Bonnie on though. Great well done and safe and happy riding.

  • Like a SHOT in the ARM ! ! ! Loved the ride. BONNEVILLES FOREVER ! ! !

  • Fantastic. I'm 17 and my mates can't understand why on earth I would want one of these over a Fireblade or Ninja.

    Thankyou so much!

  • because we dont all wanna dress in a gimp suit and look like every other biker on the road? this just looks and sounds better, and its british!

  • Brilliant mate. They also have so much more character; although having said that, I quite like the idea of having an 80s 2 stroke superbike...

  • Thanks for the video. Stirs up some great old memories of my long gone 1967 Bonneville. I always loved the sound of their engine especially at high RPM. I live in the U.S. On one trip coming back from the mountains I had some clear open highway, which gave the opportunity to open her up. I braught it up to a cruising speed of 105 mph (172 kph). It rode smooth and strong. At that speed the engine is screaming. Loved that bike.

  • Wonderful mate!

  • beautiful, thanks for sharing :)

  • nice film. hope you didn't freeze your booty off. (keep your knees in tight.)

  • is it a good bike to have as first bike?

  • good first bike? yes and no.

yes: its relatively light even by today's standards. not quite enough power to get into trouble quickly. you're garunteed to learn about motorcycle mechanics. ;)

no: they're getting expensive, and your first bike is sure to get nicks and scrapes. it has a high maintenance/riding ratio. it sucks to stall a kickstart only bike in an intersection. women are always flashing you when you're trying to ride.

  • Excellent video sir!a real dream machine, stunning sounds.

  • did the same on my T120 ten years ago, only my video camera was like an accrington brick and I ended up filming the tank most of the way! p.s. watch my 'bike cartoon -it's only 40seconds long.

  • I mean this ride on this bonny is really sweet and the fact that a lady is doing it is that much nicer,

    Cheers for the triumph bonny,

  • This is a great video. The Bonneville sounds great. I rode a Trident for 23 years and recently bought a 2008 Bonneville. Love the Triumphs.

  • Beautiful!

  • What a smooth road for a nordic contry

  • i belive its in Denmark..

  • Poor Denmark : Chrysler sell their shit there too ( the dodge caliber we saw at the begining )

  • chrysler should go out of business, they have maybe 3 or 4 good cars, none of them high volume.

  • Google "NEW BONNEVILLE RIDERS"

  • lovely sound, lovely 'bike..reminds me of my old '71 daytona.....

  • Sweet!

  • Gosh that sounded sweet....now I have an erection.....

  • nice video could feel the vibes through my chair ! wish I could have one.

  • There is a reason Lucas was nicknamed "The Prince of Darkness" my T120RV had ongoing electrical problems. The vibration cracked fender supports and other parts. It was however the best handling sweetest sounding motorcycle I ever owned and I LOVED it; wish I had it back.

  • Is the exhaust modified into a predator or somethin'? It doesn't really sound like it's coming from a peashooter~

  • What a great sound! No bike beats a big brit twin on song - even my Ducati!!!

  • triumph and nortons, they have soul.

  • An authentic Superbike.

    MusicMatty67 On Youtube

  • The sound is totally far out and I also love the kickstart. I wish newer bikes had one, its simply the coolest way to start a motorcycle by far.

  • beautiful sound of the classic triumph bonneville, very very nice!!!

  • Very nice, captured the sound very well thanks.

  • Sounds like a very solid bike!

  • VERY NICE...

  • Totally far out, great sound nice ride, do another vid!! Oh god I got to get back on my Bonnie now!! Great stuff!

  • Totally far out????? How old are you LOL

    nice bike

  • Everybody says Totally far out get with the times ya loser sucka.

  • Such that "the times" are 1989's "sucka" laden "Walking With A Panther," 1988's "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka," itself an homage to 1972 "sucka" riddled "Sanford and Son".

Yeah man, those were the days^H^H^H^Htimes.

  • Nice footage... Where did you mount your camera?

  • It's a funny story. With a belt, and lots of tape a had around my body. I did a lot of preparations regarding the sound. But it works pretty good.

  • Sounds funny, but highly effective. did you use a foam windscreen? I ask because you mention sound prep, and there is surprisingly little wind noise.

    Cheers-

  • It was great to see and hear that Triumph classic while my '70 TR6 Tiger is in the garage awaiting warmer, drier weather. Thanks

  • Very nice, and its in Danish colours!

  • Tanks for this video, it's really great!!

  • woaaa thanks for this video!!! i want to ride one too now!!!

  • Ah my TR is '69 tooo!

  • My brother had a Bonnie 750 electric start about 20 odd years ago. This clip gives a good idea of what it was like to ride...thanks for posting it!

  • wowo that was lots of fun,,,thnks for the lift.

  • Beautiful Sound and Bike

  • Very nice!

  • Great to see one getting used and not stuck in a garage!Well done, tasty bike!

  • Triumph Bonneville best bike ever made.

    Nice colour scheme.

I don't like your handlebars though and your switch gear and mirrors are crap.

  • I like those 'Western' style bars..I would prefer the low mount mirrors myself. I have some real cool pics of my Bonnies in my video called 'Eye's of Play' here on youtube. check me out. MusicMatty67 on Youtube

  • Pretty bike, wish we got to see more of it. Lovely ride. Matty's music is really great too, but it should be mentioned that Matty is known to ride in the nude. :)

  • The original and Ultimate sport bike.

    MusicMatty67 on Youtube
