Matchbox twenty is one of my favorite bands, and Rob Thomas is incredible, but I totally agree. Santana had a fair few albums out before Matchbox twenty even came on the scene. He's collaborated with pretty much every artist around.

yea when i saw matchbox twenty in concert and in numerous interviews rob said that it was about his mom who had cancer when he was a kid. he said she kept waking up in the middle of the night screaming in pain so thats what he means when he says "and she screams"
