Why was Arcade mode combined with the Survival Mode (at round 2, another character shows up)?

I chose for the game to select a second fighter to fight on round two by using team arcade.

Did you edit the SGS music to make it play backwards? Because I could've sworn that I heard the song "Why Can't We be Friends?" in reverse during several SGS executions.

If so, let me say that while that edit is somewhat subtle, it is very creative when someone catches it!
