Our medical clinic is fully integrated. Our ND is one of the sharpest physicians I have ever met and is constantly looking at the latest research. She has a wide knowledge of functional medicine and is constantly being asked in for consults with our other (regular) doctors.
Of course it would be cheaper, ND's don't have student loans to pay off.
