i used a sony bullet camera link'd to an digital handycam in a bumbag.. the quality/audio was 10x better than this but cost 4x as much, after 5 rides reviewing the trails footage it dawn'd on me.. THIS SUXS! i should be out doing this NOT watching it back lol the novelty wares off ;)

want better sound quality for the ATC2k and ATC 3k, then if you are going to use it on land, i.e. not going to be sumbmerged, then open the casing and go to the microphone, over it will be a patch that stops water from being sucked in, if you remove that patch the video quality will be heaps better

Does the camera require film or is it straight to digital. I need to be able to edit footage with only a laptop and a usb cable.

Wait a minute..... was the camera attached to the handlebars of the bike? If so no wonder you're getting crappy sound with the road vibration being transmitted *directly*

anywhere it's attached to the bike is going to get that. The sounds awful always.

Well yea, it's a helmet cam, so stick it on your helmet ^^

the image is more stable if it's securely mounted. It has difficulty keeping up with sudden movements.

This "quality" is not acceptable for me.Webcams do better

webcams cant go more that 10 feet from a computer, there not waterproof and theres no way they could withstand a 1900 foot fall.

the sound is real bad... video is pretty good for a all weather proof cam. The sound is like some one dropping marbles in a bucket
