T-Racks sounds a lot better. I´m a mastering audio engineer and I use Waves and better plugins than Ozone and T-Racks, but I would like to say that Ozone sounds not that good and T-Racks 3 sounds really a lot better than Ozone. Its a difference beteern T-Racks and Ozone like day and night. I give Ozone from 10 posible points 6.5 points and I give T-Racks 3 from 10 possible points 8.5 points. Ozone sounds cold and empty. I don´t see any reason why Ozone gets called a serious mastering plugin.
@BraindanceLabel You're a fucking 'Troll' quit going around to all the Ozone videos pasting the same lame message. Nobody cares what you rate Ozone hater!
t-racks sounds a lot better, a lot warmer and much richer, also more dynamics. ozone sounds just to cold and the pro tools thing has not enough sonical richness when you ask me. waves and t-racks i use a lot more than ozone. ozone is better if you want to pre-design the sound around your tune and than after this step you can master it with t-racks because t-racks got a higher soundquality than ozone 4 but ozone 4 gives you more control to edit your audio signal(s) so use better EVERYTHING!!
@Jed9133 go to T-Racks properties and choose the right soundcard . or install ASIO4all driver and choose it in the T-Racks properties. this worked for me =)
Ozone could be compared to a painted old trollop with too much make up and perfumed to the hilt, whereas T-Racks is a sophisticated and grand, beautiful lady who knows her speciality is ease and perfection.
I know which one I'm sleeping with tonight!
Just kidding - I use both, but for different reasons, and depending on the type of music I'm mastering.
The ozone is the fullest, then the t Racks. Not bad for a single band compressor. I like the Opto compressor a lot. I tend to use it on mixing sub groups. Such as vocal subgroups, its really good and smoothing them and gluing the leads with backups, doubles, and adlibs
Ozone completely smokes those other analog use a mouse to turn a dial heaps of crap. We are in no longer in the past. Check out the Alloy from Izotope for independent, zero latency, dual parallel, or series compression. Talk about getting spanked.
the audio is so bad how can you tell anything

Что то я не понял как можно сравнивать компрессор и многополосный компрессор - это же совершено разные приборы!!!

The bomb factory plugin is the hit maker.....hardly no comparison there.

Ozone had more treble clarity and t-racks had more full body punch

in my opinion ozone is much better, if you know how to use it, its awesome for mastering.

@bestplugins yeah, definitely ;-)

@bestplugins pero en t-racks da un efecto mas analogico del sonido y hace que suene mas parecido a un equipo fisico como hardware.
elgama11 9 months ago
@bestplugins But I wonder why none of the top mastering engineers use Ozone, or T-Racks for that matter.

T-Racks is the elephant in your room. A very large cpuavore.

I'm using both in FL Studio 9
and in my opinion T-RackS 3 Deluxe is definitely better. You can set up to 12 efects in the chain ("run up to 12 parallel/series processors")

The BF76 Peak Limiter isn't bad, unfortunately I don't think any of bomb factories older plug-ins work on Windows 7.

T-Racks !! . nice ui and very effective program, ...and i don't see any ''extra' fucking cpu consuming issues' with T-R. ?

one thing i miss in t-racks, is that 'one' [ ctrl / z ] -undo- option..
it would help so much... )

Moron ~ Ozone is about half of what T-Racks is as far as being a CPU hog.
