All the personal of the Special Operations Unit (U.O.E. = Unidad de Operaciones Especiales) were "Marines" (Infanteria de Marina). I was Infante de Marina here, and work with the UOE sometimes. Both units have OTAN training basis. The UOE did some Missions for USA in Iraq, and Infanteria de Marina was In Haiti. look for these units in youtube.
