the ypipe or downpipe on the vq30 is the most restrictive part of the exhaust.

@BrooklynTony1 The pipe that comes down like a Y is called the Y-pipe, its connected to the headers...What hes saying is that the Y-pipe is "restrictive" which means that the stock Y-pipe that comes with the car is only allowed so much air to pass thru it when you hit the gas....With an aftermarket Y-pipe, you get so more air thru it and that makes your car faster.
