Right click the game in ur library, go to properties-localfiles-verify cache or smethin like that

Can someone help me? i've recently played tf2 like it was my job. And 1 day, (2 days earlier) i wanted to make a new account because my old one had everything with boring cheats to get all items. So i made a new one, and i start tf2, i can't look at my items because it says: "Loadout Not Available. Contacting item server." and when i want to play online, it says: "There was a problem communicating with the steam servers, make sure you are signed in." And my old account still works?

go to your steam folder and delete the clientregistry.blob file

i figured out how to fix this you have to go into task manager and then processes there should be a progrom running thats descriton is hl2 and end it and u should be able to play i know bad spelling just typed this up real fast

Are your steam is in offline mode? i have same problem when offline. I go online and run tf2. it work. then im go offline again and it will run.

reinstall team fortress and before you start to play the game, make sure all of your graphics card settings are set to default, this is a central part where the errors can occur.

it opens up, it shows the valve head and source logo, and then it closes on itself, with no error message.

i tried all the novid and stuff like that and none works

i defragged the files or something and verified them and everything, it still doesnt work.

this happens to me alot here is how ou fix it. right click team fortress 2 on your my game and go to properties. then go to local files. and click verify integrity of game cache ... once you have waited for it to finish start it back up! it should work .

restart steam? after you did the verify?. defrag the game cache. if that doesnt work ask for help on the steam community forums.
