I think Blaze of Glory is not a Bon Jovi song. Jon Bon Jovi made this for the movie Young Guns. I didn't think he did the song with the band.

Listen to the original, and then listen to this and there is NO comparison. Don't get me wrong, Bon Jovi... legend. But you know...

The only other idol performance that killed the original was Carrie's performance of Heart's Alone!

not really. Carrie's was carried by the backups who were louder than her. But she does nail the song on her live performances so it's all good. But that peformance in Idol was kinda overrated.

Have you actually listened to it closely?? She sings almost the whole song by herself. If you still can't realize it, watch the acoustic performance. She's SITTING, and still hits her high notes perfectly. Oh, and is singing completely by herself. Her performance is nowhere near overrated.

I MEANT her IDOL performance NOT her OTHER performances of the song. Her Idol performance was all about being drowned by the back-ups while her other performances were good because of the lack of back up singers. Please understand and read my post before you reply. Thanks.

Yes I did listen to her live performance.  That's why I compared it to her Idol performance which was too short and the back up drowning her, hence why I thought it was overrated because you can barely hear her in half of the song. I did not in any way put her down on her live performance. I think you are confused.

He OWNS this song! It's a shame he didn't win. Although, I think he's already going further than that Jordin What's-her-face...Sparks or whatever. He's a hell of a lot better performer. He makes the audience members-each & every one of them-feel like he's singing right to them. In a way, he almost reminds me of Lucas Grabeel, his mannerisms on stage.
