  • I am a dreamer i guess, because I always had a crush on her. she's amazing

  • shes a jewish dyke

  • @SuperBnichols and you are a racist moron. go hate on the jews in some other part of youtbe and leave us nice folk alone you cynical douchebag.

  • @tavis5500 Jewish is not a race. Its a religious view. He was attacking religion not race. I'm not a big fan of jews myself but she is still an amazing singer and you can never take that away from her regardless of race creed or religion.

    GO LESLEY GORE!

  • @SuperBnichols imbecile!

  • She's got kind of an Edith Piaf/Marianne Faithfull thang goin' on here...

  • lesley is still so...........whats the word? groovyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • she's fucking rad

  • The voice is still instantly recognisable...and has changed very little over the years. Its a darker voice now, but wow...she's still GREAT!

  • This clip has made me cry, Leslie is amazing her voice is as good as ever and she is a living treasure.

  • I pray this kind of music never leaves us! I wish I'd been born in this era, what a great time in life...............I will ALWAYS be an oldies fan, always!

  • She's a pro... Fabulous.

  • Johnny much be a women because she decided to turn lesbo

  • SHES TRYING SHES SOUNDS GOOD FOR HERE AGE

  • Is this Al Gore's sister? Sorry, Lesley, I couldn't resist..

I'm sure Lesley's fans would never let her retire. She was probably the #1 female Pop singer at the height of her 60s fame. Her voice, style and arrangements here are really quite amazingly good. She's true classic, American talent. She was always a wonderful moral example. I played her many times during my 35+ year radio career. Thanks Lesley, Gere

  • @GereDJ she "was" a good moral example untill she decided to become a lesbian, thats when I threw out her albums and would not let me kids listen to her.

  • @SKSBanetek

are you out of your f.. mind ?!

  • @SKSBanetek- So sad youremain in the minority of bigots who hate people for being open about themselves. Leslie didn't "decide" one day to become a lesbian, she was born that way. In recent years that she became open about who she is. If you found out one of your kids was gay, would you throw them out of your house or send them to one of those conversion camps? Leslie is a good moral example by not hiding who she is and being a positive role model young gays opting to perform.

  • @davidjarnes Well said, davidjames. Thank you!!! When will people learn to just live and let live.

  • @mycoolride-Thank you mycoolride. I wish more people would have your philosophy.I think that the majority of the younger generation believes as you do. Unfortunately there are and will always be a minority of people who for whatever reason believe that homosexuality is the root of all problems such as Fred Phelps and the Topeka Kansas Westboro Baptist Church. There will always be bigots who hate everyone who is different from them.

  • @davidjarnes Sad, but true. I can only hope that when people like Phelps meet their maker, their bigotry will be suitably rewarded.

  • @mycoolride Reverend Phelps and his family are almost universally reviled especially since they routing protest funerals of American servicemen killed in action saying they deserve to die because the USA is too tolerant of homosexuality. I know that this site is supposed to be used to just celebrate the music and the wonderful escape it provides us, but the person that made the homophobic remark about Leslie Gore could not be allowed to be given a pass without some comment.

  • @davidjarnes Thank you for your comment. Proud to be gay and don't care who knows it! Peace. Love.

  • @markbob120 -I am also family, and a lover of doo-wop music, especially uptempo doo-wops from obscure groups, not the usual disco or hip hop crap at clubs, which is why I never go to them.

  • @davidjarnes Honestly, I'm not a big doo-wop fan. I just find something very compelling about Leslie Gore. Her album from 2007 is brilliant.

  • @markbob120 I admire Lesley Gore more as the person than the performer. Not to discredit anything she does- she is an excellent performer, but my thing is hard core doo-wop not top 40 oldies

  • @davidjarnes Her 2007 album is not top 40 oldies so not sure why you would reference that. No offense but I did not ask nor do I care what your interests are. Peace.

  • @SKSBanetek You should have kept the albums and threw out the kids. Your kids would be better off away from you!

  • Every time i listen to this concert I love and appreciate Lesley even more.
