  • actually, no hes right; it should be on the eighth note after the drag, because the drag is a pick up to the rhythm.

  • the accent should be in the first note of each drag...

  • damn... i could never get that one very fast

  • whats the written rudiments for this

  • @musclevideos123 rrLRR llRLL

Diddle the 1,2,3,4 and do a paradiddle.

  • @713daehkcarc thanks bro

  • Why are all these people commenting saying he's wrong for using match grip? its not wrong... its just different. he can do whatever the fuck he wants god damn.

  • ummmmm right stickings and everything but its not called a dragadiddle??? i have no clue where you got that but its called a single ratamacue... you also got the douple and triple ratamacue so yea....

  • @XxcompleteterrorxX i just took a look at his video for the single ratamacue, it's different style to it

this is deffinatly a paradiddle, it's just been drawn out at a cirtain pount, hence "dragadiddle"

  • what kinda sticks are those? and whats the advantage of using them?

  • You suck ass. Specifically my ass.

  • @kuraibankusu They're rudiments you dumbass, not a solo. Dipshit.

  • You came out of it way too fast, but, it sounded fine.

  • A Dragadiddle is llRLRRrrLRLLllRLRRrrLRLL and so on, with the capitals being normal strokes and lower case letters being ghost notes.

  • @hazzpwnage

A dragadiddle is just a paradiddle with the first sixteenth diddled. You are thinking of something along the lines of a drag paradiddle which is different than the dragadiddle.

  • it was a little off but brill :)

  • sounds good :)

  • nice sniff at the end....lol

  • chile

  • All I know is...that table looks SWEET!

  • Lol.

  • isn't there an accent on the diddle?

  • Yep Yep he is doing it right (rrlrll)

Besides the tempo goes from slow to fast back down to a slower tempo because he is trying to teach. Having the viewrs understand the sticking and rythmn

  • He's playing it slow-fast-slow because that is how PAS explains the rudiments should be practiced.

  • wrong, do not listen to him

  • whole point of rudiments is to master sticking then speed and to practise you start very slow, speed as fast as possible still playing correct, and then slow back down. annd as for traditional sticking, for exercises to do with precision havin a different grip in each hand seems a bad idea :(

  • he can whatever fucking grip he wants its his hands not yours

  • its because hes trying 2 TEACH which is why hes starting off slow, speeding up, and then slowing down DUHHH

  • sorry to break the news, (trd) but thats not how you do it. your doing rr l r r, but its actually rr l r l l.

  • No it isn't. He's playing the right notes, just with terrible phrasing and no sense of tempo commitment. But the sticking is right.

  • nah, narutiiii is right, its rrlrll, but he is also playing it with bad tempo, even if hes trying to teach, and he does have bad phrasing too

  • His sticking is correct. I know he's changing tempos, but he's doing it very sloppily and choppy. The speed isn't smoothly brought up and down, its moved with real uneasiness.

  • i agree with narutiiii. he is playing rrlrr. Im not really sure what the sticking for a dragadiddle is tho, if it was a drag-paradiddle then im sure it is a drag, followed by a paradiddle, (rr)Lrll. So maybe draggadiddle takes out the first "par" and inserts the drag, hence (rr)lrr. Im not too sure. But i am sure that in this vid he is playing the later.
