  • cogging bad brushless system aka excelorin.

  • fehler schon gefunden?

  • mine does that too is fine just keep running it i havent had any problems

  • Comment removed

  • The motor is cogging, the Xcelorin system is stuffed, so you will HAVE to get a new system (unfixable). If you are seeing this video and you have a Speed T doing this dont use it any more, get a new Xcelorin system, because the cogging of the motor sometimes causes the capacitor to catch alight. the capacitor on mine pretty much exploded into flames and destroyed the ESC. the same happened to this guys speed t only not as worse as normal◄(search up "Losi Speed T Blow Up" and view that video)

  • yeah you stripped your gear out

  • try charging the battery

  • striped gear

  • @Hollywood8597 yeah

  • Dumb ass . You striped the spur gear .

  • @JR12345111 dumb ass its the motor cogging

  • @Traxxasslash46 yer it is cogging but it shouldn't do it that much

  • Well m8 I have this rc car so it may be a striped diff or u haven't tightened the diff up hardly! Or if your running a lipo pack get diff ball for it

  • striped gear

  • did you give full throttle

  • check your pinion gear that could be the problem

    gruss

  • Stripped gear buy new ones. All of em exept the ones in the tranny.

  • could it be a stripped idler gear?

  • ppl your all wrong i had the same problem one time and this is the solution

----> buy spare parts for that type

    ----> put new gears in

    ----> engine check

    and there we go -.-"

  • there is most likely grit in it and it needs to be cleaned or you have to get a new motor thats what happened to mine

  • bad phase control for motor. check connection for all three wires.

  • its COG. its either because your Geared WAY too high or your motor is just dead.

  • one of the gears are srtipped the same thing happened to mine

  • its called cog. jackass. get a decent motor xceloron sucks.

  • Brushless sucks ! :(

  • @orangewille U suck.Brushless are better than nitros.(If you have the knowledge to maintain them....)

  • check ur gearbox ur motor and electronics it has happened to me and it was my gearbox

  • Look at the gearbox and look if all gears still touch eachoder.

  • dude your gearings way off

  • dude its your speed control, its glitchy and make that happen, it happened to my team losi and my xmod board

  • might be something in the motor or tranny getting stuck.

  • replaice spur gear

  • its ur diff gear just replaced mine

  • my e revo vxl did that i was driving in snow i brought inside and let it get warm and its fine now but yea i dont know man

  • i have no idea

  • no, ur all rong, its how fast he's acctually pushing the trigger on the handset he's got..

its bullshit he's pressing it a lil bit coz myn did tht out of the box on the first run we took it back n the guy sed dont push the trigger in to slow.. DICKWEED

  • happend to my uncles traxxas slash with lrp brushless motor in 9.5t after about 5 mins it sorted itsself out. its not the gears put it that way.

  • the pinions

  • that's what happened to me when i bought the xeloron brushless system for my micro t the. xeloron brushless systems are horrible. I will never buy anything xeloron again

  • it has something to do whit the gears not the motor

  • Thats what happens when you buy brushless... most brushless systems, when you buy them, you almost HAVE to buy metal drive gears... or you will strip them quicker than anything and have the problem like this one does... Xeloron is a GREAT system... so its YOUR knowledge on brushless upgrades and lack of RC experience that makes you blame it on the motor and ESC systems...

  • @Rock3jester

The xcelorin brushless is an awesome upgrade, but you have to know how to use it. It's not the motor, it's the gearing. Get it right before you bash this amazing system. :|

  • diff gear is destroy

  • not so he has something that us electric racers call cogging. its like his timing is off it could be too high or too low. his battery is irelivent its the power to the gears. not the gears themselfs. easy fix with the included propgram card. no worries. i do reaserch and race elecrtic i beat nitros on a weekly basis no worries. gear ratio may contribute a little too try a differant toothed pinion.

  • gears

  • cogging bru....get a REAL ESC and that'll fix it...i.e...mamba max ESC.

  • with brushless systems if there is any binding of gears or running gear the esc will sence this and stutter like that. check the spur gear to the main drive gear for mesh, you shuold be able to feed a piece of ciggy paper through it. i also found that traxxas have the best drive shavt configuration but with losi, himoto, hpi etc that use dog bone drive, replace with a good cv universal joint it will run heaps smoother.......

  • yeah its something 2 do with the gears, i would by some new ones cheap off ebay

  • its the gear

  • the gear on your motor is too close to the spur gear

  • Stripped spur gear. Whoever sets them in the factory doesn't always do it very well. I've had the same problem. Now whenever I get a new vehicle form Losi I set the gear mesh myself.

  • you should do that with any new r/cvehicle

you should also check all the screws to be sure they are tight and the toe in and castor cambers are set correctly too

  • not really my losi did this after a few runs and then after a few more runs the esc blew, i am about to send it back and see what happens?(warranty)

  • ey..mac mal haube auf und guck dir mal des getriebe an...viel iwie sand drinne

  • Its the ESC for sure. My Twin VXL Emaxx did it, one of the esc's was messed up. Switched to MMM. Problem solved.

  • dude i think it might be the esc because it must be telling it to go forward and reverse at the same time

  • i have now put in a Novak hv max esc and a velociti 5.5 motor. that seems to be the deal

  • i have never worked on this electric stuff but it sounds like the gears just are not properly connected to eachother. like they are stripping because they are far apart

  • xcellorin is garbage i but the vxl system in my speed t it works ten times better and its faster

  • solution --> electronics were junk! New engine and new adjuster --> no problems any more!!

  • after looking at my electrics, it seems my capacitor might have a problem - part number LOSB9370. If you still have your "old" electrics, you should try replacing it and see if that is the problem. Any capaictor with the sam specs should do the job. A rather cheap fix (maybe $5). When I replace mine I will let you guys know.

  • Kythera,

Did it work? I'm having the same issue after running 12 cells

  • No m8, it didn't. I am actualy sending losi an e-mail asking for suggestions. Will post back once I have an update.

  • now im having the same stupid problem s who got the fix not even a month old and already blew up the diff replaced it wit ball diff now this i love how fast it is smoked my jato 3.3 this thing pissing me off !!!!

  • @lord1024 lolz ur trying to be the expert but you said engine.

  • @lord1024 I had mine for two weeks and it already started doing this... Sign of fried motor.... Im gonna get a velineon system I think.

  • @lord1024 did you get the motor and esc????? mine was still doing that and seemed slow after I got the velineon motor and kept xcelorin esc... Im currently putting Vxl ESC to go with velineon hoping that runs better.

  • so if i seem to have the same problem on my speed t it may be the electronics are junk and need replacing

  • Hi,

I am having the same problem. Did you manage to fix your rc?

  • Luckily castle fixed it for free and quite quick as well.

First thing to do is try the controller with another motor and another battery and check the battery contacts

  • I have a few brushless systems and i know that on the mamba max dodgy bullet connectors to the motor was causing some cogging issues with that but from what i can tell this doesn't have bullet connectors i would however check the solder connections are ok.

i know when i blew my mamba max esc by reverse polarising my battery (stupid a123 cells with reverse polarity design) that is also would cogg similarly like that.

  • i dont think it would be the lipo doing that to be honest especially considering those were low power starts and its doing it with the wheels off the ground.

I would however check the battery contacts for arcing burns just in case thats a problem.

Something tells me though that the problem might be a blown fet in the controller could you explain what you were doing before the problem you have arose.

  • do you mean the lipo is broken?

  • buy a new lipo

  • Garantie nutzen wenn du noch hast oder mal nen anderen voll geladenen akku benutzen
