I say that this cover is very honest. Don't know a thing aboot the band or about their own matirial, but they did well on covering this...very well. Though nothing compares to Bylly Paul version (guess that Gamble & Huff did every diference!!!)

Wow ! awesome cover ! I don't like the strings much, but I guess a keyboard will never be a good substitute for an orchestra (DUH !) but the rest is absolutely spot on ! Great singer. Why must a band that plays so well together split up ? That's life, I guess. Pity though....

I think the original of this song came out when I was in the 6th grade and I never liked it because of the message. But, oh my goodness, Soulwater does a beautiful rendention of it. The smoothness of the music and the band is intoxicating. WOW! Beautiful music. I would love to have a CD of their music.

this is a great cover for real, but in my op.another guitarist,and keys player shoulda been there for strings, to add more of the critical embellishments that made this song ,a standout,but for money and budget,i know they can overdub those parts,but just playin live like this it was great and def. the best on you tube
