This CPU cooler will fit any 775 socket and 1366 socket motherboard. if you dont know what socket you got then you probably shouldnt be adding or modding your motherboards at all
can i fix this cooler to a p43 neo mother board ? i have a plan to buy this cooler very quickly but i am in lot issues weather this cooler will fix to my mother board
@rassem1411 61C idle isn't too much for a gpu. start worrying if you see over 90C at full load. If your cpu is idle at 61C then you have a big problem.
Frig these comments are retarded. Does anyone here see a motherboard attached to the bottom of this thing? No? Exactly, who cares if the plastic shield is still on, it's there to protect it, it's not going to give you AIDS, kill your dog and rape your parents if you leave it on before you go and actually install the thing.
You guys must really be digging for reasons to insult people to feel better about your selves, here's a tip, nobody cares.
@CheckExplicit The whole point of the plastic shield is to protect the copper fins in transport. all the zalman CNPS heatsinks come like that and it specifically says in the instructions to remove the plastic cover before installation.
call yourself an expert. Check the manufacture's website for information before you just go playing with stuff, you should have known to take it off before you even got it.
And if your gonna reveiw something then reveiw it. Crappy music on a video that just shows it off is no help to no one.
Anyone reading this go to the Zalman website look this cooler up and click on "how to install". It will show you a flash video of the insallation process.
Guys ... stop write ... that "I must remove the plastic shild" ... I konw ... I've writen, in the description, " you must remove the plastic shild after the istallation ..." OMG ...nobody read !
why ... notbody read my description ... I write that you have to remove the plastic shild ... after the istallation ... in the video I've not Istalled the coolers ... LOL

Well it is a good cooler but if you have 2 120mm fans laying around for the price I say get a TRUE120 regular or black edition as I have. You can lap both coolers and will enhance cooling even more. I really like the look of the TREU120 compared to this IMO.
would this fan be good for an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T?

I like how you can see if there's anything wrong with it before you even open the box.

rassem1411 2 years ago
@rassem1411 yes all the CNPS have an adjustable fanspeed knob that attackes to the back of your tower in a pci case slot.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
You don't have to take plastick shield. It's protecting the fan and improve cooling performance, because of air circulation.
