At 3 1/2 minutes, this seems very short for any one-reeler, even from that period. Is this all the footage that remains, or is there more than hasn't been exhibited?

0:48 used to do that with the plastic chairs in high school, but used tacks...
about 1/4 inch of it would poke through..
