  • Geraint (27:12) really is an 'orrible rat faced git. What an opportunist! Like his father.

  • I'm working my ass off, studying hard in engineering and actually inventing things with other engineers and scientists in our R&D department. Yet we still need to make mortgages for our houses and other necessities in life. Investment bankers on the other hand make millions in bonuses in their 20's by taking risks, making money out of nothing and contributing next to nothing to the real economy ?? ... This aint right ...

  • @ktawut well they are brilliant financial engineers, another form of engineering

  • Nothing special in the film. Banks are "bad", this is true. But I expected more analysis, more facts, more opinions etc. There is nothing wrong about the CEOs not willing to talk to the reporter because they have more important things to do. I am sure that they have plenty of such strange visitors regularly and the CEO obviously can't talk to each one of them. No valuable new ideas were proposed on how to deal with the problem.

  • research methodology of islamic banking, its last solution and of course people need to learn to live simple.

  • why are people even taking out mortgages that they will be spending their entire life paying off? they know that when their salary is 1/10 of the price of the house.... they would have been far better off renting...

  • 28:04 greedy face

  • Kill the bankers..I hate bloody banks..thieving twats.

  • Moreover, the pattern of news is all too familiar now. It is a whitewash, like press releases that spun a story about Saddam's imminent use of WOMD against the West, that comes alive with the extra colour of swashbuckling personas like John Simpson giving us breaking news about the fall of Iraq. It's a Greek tragedy of masked players, strutting about on the stage, telling us everything about nothing.

Did you see the BBC's take on 911? A load of dribble.

  • What the mainstream media channels are very good at is to present a selection of credible facts that help us to understand just a little more than what we already now but they never reveal the REAL POLITIK, the simple arithmetic used by crooks who hide behind the economic jargon spouted by journalists.

Its called the BBC syndrome. Play to the gallery, with a bit of bluster about investigating, while saying nothing about the anti-social practice of fractional reserve lending.

  • call this journalism? thanks for telling us what we already know.. Banks are bastards. If I was a bank executive or shareholder I would have laughed watching this, what a colossal waste of time.

  • please!!! subtitles!!!

  • This is why we will get rid of the money system altogether and live in a Resource Based Economy in the near future. Look at the zeitgeist movement and Venus project.

  • @smokinrobocop where did you study economics???? a resource based economy simply wont work in most economies(especially the developed ones where you live) because there arent enough resources to go around. besides the world owes china trillions of dollars which it cant pay off anytime soon. do you really think we can just get rid of money, thereby increasing global poverty by a massive scale....we cant just get rid of money when the entire world uses it

  • sick system for stupid people

  • Great video....sad, but informative.....

  • Real money my ass, if money is money why does it say "promise to pay" if it really is money then why does it need to promise anything? Surely it can just do what it say's it can? Or is it really credit which IS a promise to pay (with interest?) at some point in the future, anyone ever found out when?

  • the banks do nothing but own everything ,,,, your house ,,, the bank did nothing in it's constuction,, we the people , or we the serfs,,, did it all ,,,, but the bank owns it !!!!@!!

  • @rich232399

    ic.

so if i don't have an education and i have a menial blue collar job, and i aspire to live in a big house with a big garden, two kids and a dog, then its obviously the banks' fault that i'm in financial trouble.

    great logic.

  • @hyperGlobalist Yes. It is the fault of the Banks.

  • Getting bonuses for destroying nations!

    Neat!

"When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes.

Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain."

    - Napoléon Bonaparte

"The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the people versus the banks."

    - Lord Acton

  • @Tressco And right after saying that, Napoleon created the Bank of France (central bank) which was a private corporation, most it's stock being owned by.. Napoleon himself, and his relatives and friends. So that he could use the bank to finance himself and his wars when he was in government, while personally cashing in astronomic profits as the owner of a state-backed private banking monopoly..

Robbing banks is for losers, the serious criminals know that the way forward is to RUN the banks lol

  • @Tressco it was bankers who got rid of class structure and feudalism. remember that before you make generalizations about all banks
